October Halloween Dance
What a terrific time ! ! ! There were over 60 people here having the time of their lives. Snacks, drinks, costumes, and dancing, dancing, dancing.
Limbo contests, and music for all. Thanks to all who helped with this wonderful event. The goodie bags were outstanding. I believe this is going to become a yearly event. Thanks to Mr. Kevin for organizing everything and thanks to the DJ.
November Family Activity
Saturday, November 8th, there will be a Birthday Bash for Mr. Ronemus. We will be following the format of our Birthday Parties that are available to all. There will be pizza, snacks, drinks, cake and ice cream.
We will have a 30 min. Kenpo Class, 30 min. of Games, and 30 min. Birthday Party. Come one, come all.

Kenpo instructional videos for yellow, orange, purple and blue belts are available for purchase. The Yellow and Orange are available in the Studio. We just finished a sparring DVD. Some great information to help you get started with your sparring. I also have a DVD with my Keychain I Seminar and this also includes 20 knife and gun defenses.

Keychain Seminar-Knife & Gun Defense
These videos feature all techniques and forms for each belt level - the videos show techniques in several speeds and at differing angles to assist in home learning. It is more than a month's instruction completely on disk!
Sparring Days
Sparring is an important part for all Kenpo practicioners. If you are yellow belt and above, please plan on having your sparring gear with you on the days we practice this important part of our learning. Adult Self-Defense Class
Saturday, November 15 from 4 to 5:30 I will be having an open adult self-defense class. This is for anyone interested in learning how to survive a street situation.
No belts, no uniforms, just some practical, realistic self-defense. Street clothes, sneakers, and a desire to learn something. I review a little from the previous weeks, and add something new each month.
This is for any adult (13+ is ok) that would like some skill and knowledge. The cost is only $10.00. Each class will stand alone. This has become a monthly tradition and everyone really seems to like it. Come on in and enjoy and learn. Please call for reservation, 755-9994.
Kenpo Keychain Self-Defense Class
On Saturday, Nov. 1, from 4-6, I will be hosting a keychain self-defense seminar at the Studio. The cost is $20.00 per person. This includes a keychain, a written manual or everything that is covered and a 2 hour class. There will be DVD's available at the seminar that cover all the techniques being taught. This is for 13-year-old and above, students, friends, family members. Please help spread the word.
Time to Join Ronemus Kenpo Karate
I have a great deal going on right now. If you know of anyone interested in learning American Kenpo from the top instructor in the area, now is the time. All new students will receive 2 months of lessons, a uniform and a yellow belt manual for only $90 (Tiny Tigers only $60.00). Spread the word now.
Birthday Parties
We are now offering Birthday Parties again. What a great deal. No mess, no fuss, no clean-up for you. We supply a cake, snacks, pizza (or other food), and drinks.
You will receive a 30 min. Kenpo class (with your child as co-instructor), 30 minutes of Games, and 30 minutes of Birthday Party. All this for only $100.00 for the first 10 children (each additional child only $5.00 each).
The parties can also be held at your home for a reasonable rate. Please contact Mr. Ronemus or Miss Leah to get your date.
New York, New York
I just finished a weekend in Long Island at Mr. Chris Babel's School. Mr. Babel is one of my loyal Black Belts and is following everything I do here, and has one of the largest, most successful schools in the Long Island area.
I tested a young lady (Catherine) for 1st Black on Friday evening. She did an awesome job (I pitied the poor Black Belts that had to attack her). This was followed by a Keychain Seminar with 44 participants. It went really well.
On Saturday I had 2 classes of Little Dragons, 2 classes of Juniors, followed by a Teen/Adult class. Was tired but everything when great.
Saturday night we found a new restaurant, Caio Baby, some of the best Italian food I ever had.
Sunday we finished with a large promotion, which included Mr.Dillion Murphy receiving 2nd Black, and Mr. Arnold Babel receiving 3rd Black.
