Mission Statement for the NAKA

As an organization of practitioners who directly trace our lineage to the Parker Family Tree, we will strive:

  • To offer individuals and school owners a forum to exchange ideas and experiences
  • To offer individuals and school owners an umbrella organization to recognize and bestow rank
  • To offer individuals and school owners guidance and help, but not enforcement of what and how they teach
  • To offer individuals and school owners regular contact and support by phone, e-mail and try-yearly newsletter
  • To continue to spread Ed Parker's American Kenpo Karate

Thank you for your interest in joining the North American Kenpo Association. The cost for a one year membership is $25.00 payable in check or money order made out to Kenpo.

With the one year membership you will recieve:

  • A beautiful full color patch for the left breast or right shoulder
  • A current rank certificate (on corresponding colored stock up to brown, and in color on parchment 8-1/2 x 11 for Black Belt ranks) and updated rank certificates during the year
  • A bi-monthly newsletter containing tips for techniques and forms, teaching aids, and a list of promoted NAKA students
  • The opportunity to test for higher rank either in person or by video
  • The opportunity to have a say in the future of Kenpo and help other Kenpo practitioners
